Sydney Doe
Scholarship Year:
2022
Sydney Doe is a proud Chicago native and a current PGY-2 at Northwestern’s Family Medicine program based out of Erie Family Health, a teaching health center. As a medical student, she was elected to serve as a Student Representative to the AAFP’s Congress of Delegates. She also sits on the Illinois Physicians for a National Health Program Steering Committee.
Project for scholars month at CVP:
At the Center, Sydney is working on a project to promote tying residency program funding to outcomes like resident burnout and the percentage of graduates that pursue primary care. She is excited by the possibilities for physician training were it to be held accountable to the needs of both patients and trainees. In her free time, she likes playing board games with her in-laws and visiting museums. Per Sydney, so far, the DC museums have been knocking it out of the park!
