Supporting physicians who work in challenging contexts: A role for the academic health center

PCPs operating in especially challenging circumstances would benefit from external support. In such especially challenging circumstances, however, the resources to provide such support are generally scarce, whether due to geography (e.g. rurality), patient type (e.g. drug users), or organizational structure (e.g. a community health center).
