Revisits the 2002 Medical Professionalism in the New Millennium: A Physician Charter and introduces The Charter on Professionalism for Health Care Organizations developed by the nonprofit org Foundation for Medical Excellence. A call to action for hospital and practices to review, endorse and make use of the charter during these challenging times in health care. Gives case examples of organizational efforts.
