Physicians’ dual agency, stewardship, and marginally beneficial care

Dual agency problem of physicians in the stewardship aspect of providing marginally beneficial care is discussed and providing marginal beneficial intervention should be reconceptualized to address the dual agency crisis. Choosing Wisely initiative is presented and the moral significance of healthcare interventions and conceptual framework for dual agency.
