Presents experience with the traditional large group practice models which have 4 key elements to successful physician self-regulation in the employment setting to keep in mind for physician self-regulation in the new employed physician environment. These are: clinical governance, management capabilities, clinical performance information transparency, and appropriateness of financial incentives.
